DECEMBER 2021

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Dear Sisters

I have been remiss at keeping up with everyone because I have had a bad cold (not COVID) for 3 weeks.  I went to Mexico for a week with it, came back with a worse cough,  and developed some pneumonia. I am working at getting my mojo back. Maria Diaz is on the mend, but doing some pulmonary rehab for her COVID. Teri St. Jean is keeping very busy with work at the Wells House. Kriss Crilly and her husband did a belated trip to the Pacific Islands to celebrate his retirement…absolutely gorgeous pictures. I am sure Sherry & Larry Schreck are still celebrating the Cougar win at the Apple Cup. I wish I had more news to pass on, but I am not getting out as much as I would like.

Thanks to Cathy Reasor and Teri St. Jean for planning our Wednesday, December 22 lunch at 11:30 at the Country Club. Check out Teri’s article with all the details. Our callers will be contacting you for a count the weekend before.

We will be online with Zoom meetings in January and probably February due to the weather and COVID restrictions. I will be calling all our members this winter to check in for your news. Rose Buddies, check in on each other this winter. Have a wonderful holiday season and for you snowbirds, enjoy the warm weather wherever you are!

Rosa Eilert, president
