Ken's Backyard

Dear Sisters,

Having a bad cold and cough while in Maui is not how I planned my Thanksgiving, but that was it! Regardless the weather and sunshine were delightful. As I sit here looking out at the snowy morning, I am still glad to be back. I am so looking forward to our luncheon this coming Saturday. Details of the luncheon and our service project ( gloves, mittens and/or scarves) are in Teriís article. Just the bare essentials below:

Date: Saturday, Dec. 3 at 11:30

Place: Wenatchee Golf and Country Club

Cost: $20.00 which does not include any beverage, but you can order and pay personally.

Choices: Chicken Gorgonzola Salad or French Dip with your choice of side (order at the table)

Callers will be calling for your orders as they have done in the past.

I am happy to report that our Chapter Strategic Action Plan was in on time while many chapters were late. Thanks to Teri for working with me on the plan and to the members for helping to make our goals possible, especially our service projects.

Our January and February meetings will be online through our Zoom account, but will still relate to our theme, Make a Difference.

Looking forward to seeing all of you at the luncheon.

Rosa Eilert, President
